MEDSUM AUTOMATIC: Opening MEDSUM with your query term and processing choice automatically running
For those of you who would like MEDSUM buttons on your homepage / Institute page which open the MEDSUM page with your name in the search bar
and the PROFILE button already pressed... here below is the kit to do that.
You can now modify the extension of MEDSUM's URL to include query and button information
Whereas http://webtools.mf.uni-lj.si/public/medsum.html will open MEDSUM normally....
http://webtools.mf.uni-lj.si/public/medsum.html?query=galsworthy mj
will open the page with galsworthy mj in the query box.
and http://webtools.mf.uni-lj.si/public/medsum.html?query=galsworthy mj&button=pr
will open the page with galsworthy mj as the query and the PROFILE button being pressed.
So the general for is: http://webtools.mf.uni-lj.si/public/medsum.html?query=[Query here]&button=[Button code here]
You can put in any query term you like: The only rules are:
1. Use it with consideration, don't automatically open huge pointless queries.
2. Use these codes for the buttons: qc = quick call; tl = timeline; mi = MeSH It; pr = profile
