An AUTHOR name (Smith J), a JOURNAL name (Nat Rev Genet), or a SUBJECT (schizophrenia AND dopamine)

The Quick Call button immediately tells you how PubMed translates your query and the number of associated records.
The Timeline button breaks down those records over the years - starting with the current year and going back to 1945 (max).
The MeSH It button calls the 1000 most recent papers with MeSH entries and summarises the most frequent Major MeSH Headings.
The PROFILE button will show you all (co-)authors, journals, research biases, subject categories and years.
